Hey! I’m Mariah, and here's a bit about my lifestyle blog. It’s all things health, wellness, fitness, vegan, and LIFE. Honestly, it’s about Instagram too.
Veganism came to me at just the right time in my life. I was enduring a very unhealthy relationship with food and my thoughts were toxic and disruptive to my life. It is not an exaggeration that almost immediately after becoming vegan, I experienced a transformation in my life. Good energy began flowing my way. And it all was a result of looking at food in a loving way, for the first time in a while. I began to appreciate it for fueling me, for bringing people together, and for reminding me of the loving place it was coming from. It took me a while to realize that I couldn’t possibly reach my full potential if my mind wasn’t in a space of love.
My food transformation allowed me to be able to love myself fully and enlightened me about the world that is much bigger than I am. Suddenly I was more open to experiencing my emotions and was able to stay present. Now that I’m in a place of more love and gratitude for life, I am so excited to be able to share my passions, my pictures, and my posts with you!
This is a blog for anyone and everyone, because it’s about all things lifestyle. I am thankful for my experience for it has led me to sharing my thoughts with readers like you.
This whirlwind of a journey started out with my first grade best friend, Rachel Sarnie. As the editor, graphic designer, and social media marketer of mariahboisvert.com, Rachel has helped create this blog from the ground up. We joke that she’s my agent, but it’s really not a joke.
What started as a simple Tumblr (as a way to put some thoughts on “paper”) has since grown into a full-fledged obsession for which hours of sleep are sacrificed. “Hang outs” are now business meetings, and casual pictures without a doubt end up as featured photography on posts.
Rachel’s eye for color and design combined with my commitment to empowering others through health and wellness - added to our shared love for photography and travel - has made this blog dynamic, engaging, informative, and creative. Plus all the feelings we constantly are chattering about. Lots and lots of feelings.
Despite Rachel’s non-vegan lifestyle, and my initial aversion to social media (imagine that), our combined passions have really made this blog soar. The peach emoji that has become our logo is a great visual representation of that. The peach of course represents veganism, but the emoji itself represents social media & the blog we have become obsessed with.
