Our breath brings us so much vitality. It helps calm us when we are struggling and reminds to pay attention to our body first and foremost.
As Ghandi once said, “I have so much to accomplish today that I must meditate for two hours instead of one.“ Sometimes we associate being under stress or being busy as being a reason to neglect what we really need and what our bodies are calling from us. But being overwhelmed is more of a reason to tune into ourselves and our sensations. Control your breathing before trying to control everything else in your life. For without breath, we have nothing. When we are breathing, we can listen to what we truly need. Our body always knows best. Try to listen closely to determine what it is saying. For this holds greater meaning than any external voices.
